Home Visits

I want to make sure that everyone has access to Osteopathic services which is why I offer treatments in the comfort of your home if you have difficulties making your way to the clinic. Reasons may include if you have a newborn at home, are in extreme pain, or are bedridden from a chronic condition.

Courses

Learn to save lives and get certified by the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.  This course teaches you how to perform CPR and use an AED and is offered to the public as well as health care professionals. I also offer osteopathic manual techniques seminars for massage therapists, athletic therapists, personal trainers, chiropractors, and any other manual therapists.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping has gained great popularity in recent years after many celebrities as well as Olympians have been known for using cupping therapy. Although trendy right now, cupping therapy dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. Cupping draws blood and associated healing cells to affected areas of the muscular system reducing soreness and speeding up the healing process.

IASTM

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation or IASTM is a modern evolution of the traditional Chinese medicine Gua Sha where the therapist uses a stainless steel tool to locate and treat dysfunctional tissues of the body. It effectively breaks down scar tissue as well as fascial restrictions leading to increased range of motion, increased muscular strength, and decreased pain.

Sports Coverage

My combined experience as a paramedic and osteopath allow me to provide emergency first aid as well as manual therapy on site for any type of sporting event. Specific services include support taping, head injury and concussion care, emergency spinal care, on-field injury assessment and care, general first aid, and clinical follow up of injuries.
